About LifToday

Wellness that starts today

A Texas-rooted natural functional medicine consulting practice that makes whole-person wellness practical, starting with your gut.

The story

From the corporate world to wellness

Hi, I'm [Founder name TBD]. Before LifToday I worked in a corporate career, so I understand busy, stressed, time-poor weeks first-hand.

TBD: founder story. Waiting on the founder's name, photo, previous role and years, and why the switch to wellness. This block is a placeholder and must be replaced before launch.

Why gut first

"If you can't digest what I recommend, we won't get very far."

Food, supplements and lifestyle changes only help if your body can take them in and use them. So digestion comes first. Once that foundation is steadier, every other change has something to build on.

How I work

Alongside your doctor, not instead of them

My work is education, coaching and consulting on lifestyle, diet and nutritional supplements. I don't diagnose or treat medical conditions, and I'll never ask you to stop or change a medication. Keep seeing your physician. If something you share needs medical attention, I'll send you back to them.

Sessions are one-on-one, in person in the Sugar Land, Pearland and Clear Lake area or virtual, and you work with me directly every time.

Common Questions

Questions people ask first

Straight answers about gut health, how LifToday works, and what to expect from a first consultation. If yours isn't here, ask it on a free discovery call.

Gut health basics

Why am I bloated after every meal?

There isn't one answer, which is why guessing rarely works. Common contributors include eating fast, meal size, low fiber or a sudden jump in fiber, certain foods that don't agree with you, stress and poor sleep. A consultation looks at how you eat, what you eat and how you live, then picks one or two changes to test first. Bloating that is severe, sudden or comes with pain, weight loss or blood is a reason to see your doctor before anything else.

What foods support gut health?

Most people do well with a base of whole foods: vegetables, fruit, beans and lentils, whole grains, nuts and seeds, and fermented foods such as yogurt, kefir or sauerkraut if they tolerate them. Variety matters more than any single superfood. The right mix for you depends on what you can comfortably digest today, so we start there and build.

Do probiotics help?

Sometimes. Research on probiotics is mixed and depends heavily on the strain and the reason you are taking it. A probiotic is not a fix for every gut complaint, and many people get more from food, sleep and stress changes first. If a probiotic makes sense for you, we talk through why, which one, and how long to try it before deciding.

How long does it take to improve gut health?

It varies from person to person, and anyone who promises a timeline is guessing. Many people notice small changes within a few weeks of steady habits. Lasting change usually takes longer, which is why the default recommendation is a 3-month program rather than a single session. Individual results vary.

Working with LifToday

What is functional medicine nutrition?

It is a whole-person approach to nutrition. Instead of looking at one symptom in isolation, it looks at how your eating, sleep, stress, movement and supplements fit together, and asks why something is happening before deciding what to change. At LifToday that work is education and consulting, done alongside your doctor.

How is a functional nutrition consultant different from a dietitian?

A registered or licensed dietitian holds a state-regulated license and can provide medical nutrition therapy. LifToday is not a dietitian and does not hold a state license. The founder is board certified through the American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners (AANWP), a private certifying body. The work is education and coaching on lifestyle, diet and supplements. If you need medical nutrition therapy, a dietitian or your doctor is the right call, and we will tell you so.

Do I need to stop seeing my doctor?

No. LifToday works alongside your doctor, never instead of them. Keep your appointments, and don't stop or change any medication without talking to your physician. If something you share sounds like it needs medical attention, you will be referred back to your doctor.

Can you diagnose or treat my condition?

No. LifToday does not diagnose, treat or cure any disease or condition. The work is education and consulting about lifestyle, nutrition and supplements. Diagnosis and treatment belong with your physician.

Do you work in person or virtually?

Both. In-person sessions are in the southwest and south Houston area (Sugar Land, Pearland and Clear Lake). Virtual sessions work for anyone who would rather meet from home or the office.

Getting started

What happens on the free discovery call?

It is a 15 to 20 minute conversation to see if LifToday is a good fit. You share what made you reach out and what you have tried. You hear how the process works. If it fits, we book your initial consultation. If it doesn't, you will be pointed somewhere better suited. There is no cost and no obligation.

What happens in a first consultation?

Before the session you fill out intake forms through a secure client system. The consultation itself runs 60 to 90 minutes and covers your history, daily routine, eating patterns and current supplements. You leave with a written plan that starts with one or two changes you can make right away. The initial consultation is $300 on its own and is included in the 3-month program.

Do I need supplements if I eat healthy?

Not always. Food comes first, and plenty of people need fewer supplements than they are taking. A supplement review looks at what you already take, what each one is for, and what can be dropped or simplified. When a supplement does make sense, it is recommended with a clear reason and a plan to check whether it is helping.

Are lab tests and supplements included in the price?

No. Functional lab testing (through Evexia Diagnostics) and supplements (through LifToday's Fullscript dispensary) are optional and billed separately. Lab results are used as educational insights, not diagnoses. LifToday may earn a margin on Fullscript purchases, and you are always free to buy elsewhere.
